Reconciliation Week - Be Brave and Make a Change
I was honoured to capture this roundtable event hosted by the Macedon Ranges Shire Council as part of Reconciliation Week 2022. The event featured some fantastic speakers and conversations.
Key speaker Dennis Batty is a local Taungurung man and a compelling speaker. His heartfelt presentation included personal stories about his family’s local history, his own truth telling and what Reconciliation would look like to him.
Inspired by Dennis’ stories, Councillors, staff and community members shared their ideas about how the community can support Reconciliation in the Macedon Ranges.
